Will Masterston may appear to be a reporter, but the truth is he is an agent with Homeland Security.  Will’s lost one agent to terrorists, he never wants to see it happen again.  Unfortunately, his worst fear is about to come true…

Dani Lundeen works in search and rescue with her dog, Missy.  During a call to find an elderly woman, Dani instead comes across the body of a man.  Due to this find, she meets Will and feels perfectly at ease with the handsome man until she learns he is a reporter.

Soon, Will is hard at work trying to stop a terrorist group from wreaking havoc.  Meanwhile, Dani is searching for a missing girl.  The two cases are closely linked, the girl Dani is after happens to be the same girl with strong ties to Will’s case.  Dani and Will must work together if they are to save lives.  With sparks flying between them, neither can afford to lose focus on the case at hand.

Wrought with passion and edge-of-your-seat suspense, Susan May Warren’s latest offering keeps you on your toes.  ESCAPE TO MORNING is the second book in Susan May Warren’s Team Hope series.  I missed the first book, and though ESCAPE TO MORNING works as a stand-alone novel, I always got this feeling that I was missing something when other characters were mentioned.  I think I would have enjoyed this book more had I read the first.
