TRANSCENDENT SEX is a book that describes the experiences that some individuals have when they are having sex. It actually goes beyond the actual sexual experience to include a real spiritual awakening that can transform a person’s life. Dr.
Wade has conducted a study on transcendent sex, by selecting people that
she knows or is a mutual acquaintance. Chapters 1-7 discuss and relate
actual experiences from the study participants. As the book develops,
she shows how we can benefit from this experience. Dr. Wade is
quick to point out that this type of experience can happen to anyone,
anywhere and at anytime. It is not exclusive sex, religion, or whether
or not an orgasm has been achieved. Generally, it will occur to only one
person during the lovemaking. The
components of the research study are listed in the appendix for the
readers who require a detailed analysis of the subjects, etc. The book is about the experiences that some people have during a sexual encounter. The information was interesting, but it started to get dry after the second chapter. I am interested in psychic world and consider myself open to new areas of knowledge. At times, I felt as if the same information was written in a different context. Individuals who have a real technical interest in this area may find it more interesting than I did.
