The magic of one kiss threatens to undo Norton Russell Foxhall, Earl of Granby. His reputation as a dashing rogue is known country wide, and one thing Granby intends to do is never marry. Women are nothing but trouble of this he is certain. Then he meets Catherine Hardwick near her father's horse stables where she nearly runs him down. Her horse is magnificent, but Catherine also captures his eye. One kiss from Catherine threatens to undo him. Catherine, too, is convinced that men are nothing but trouble. She has no intentions on ever marrying, but Granby's kiss weighs heavily on her mind. When the pair are caught in an intimate moment, they are pressured into marriage. Granby finds the notion rather pleasant, but can he convince his bride-to-be that marriage will be everything they desire and more? HE SAID NO is so much fun. I couldn't put it down. Patricia Waddell was a relatively new name to me a couple of years ago, but I think her writing keeps getting better and better. Touches of humor help build the sexual tension that heats up between the pair. I anxiously await the final two installments in this series. Especially that of Viscount Rathbone who really needs a strong woman to change his ways!
