SIDNEY & NORMAN is the tale of two pigs--one good and one rather misunderstood.  Norman finds life is simple.  He regularly attends church.  He is never late for meetings or appointments.  His organizational skills are superb.  In a nutshell, Norman feels he lacks nothing.

Sidney is not as organized.  He often finds himself running late.  He certainly does not dress as nicely as his neighbor.  He feels his job isn't quite as important as it could be.  Generally, Sidney lacks confidence in himself.

One day, both Sidney and Norman receive invitations to meet with God.  He has an important message for both pigs.  A message that may surprise them both ....

SIDNEY & NORMAN is written by Phil Vischer, creator of the popular VeggieTales series.  Justin Gerard handles the illustrations that are entertaining without being over-the-top.  The story is excellent.  It does put a spin on what truly makes a "good" Christian.  This is an important lesson that I know a few adults could learn.  For that reason, I think SIDNEY & NORMAN should be on many families' bookshelves.
