At first glance, the title WHO'S WHO IN THE AGE OF JESUS misled me.  I was expecting a listing of the key players in the Bible.  This is my mistake.  In reality, this handy reference guide is a historical timetable from 63 BC to 135 AD.  While it does revolve around the time Jesus supposedly lived, it also contains the histories of many figures who are not found in the Bible.  Inside, an alphabetical format gives biographies of many people from history (Claudius, Cleopatra, Nero, Philo, Pilate, etc.) and from the Bible (Mary Magdelene, Jesus of Nazareth, Mark, Matthew, etc.)

The compact guide offers historical timetables, the biographies, and an extensive bibliography.  If you are studying that time period, you will want a copy of this guide for your research.  It is thorough, well organized, and easy to tote around.
