Following a business conference, Kells Berkley receives a phone call from his roommate, Bryant. Bryant has invited Cydney Nash, his girlfriend from Boston, to move into their flat while Bryant is away on a trip. When Kells and Cydney meet for the first time, it is as if a thunderbolt has hit. Kells
and Cydney feel an immediate attraction although they both attempt to
hold their passions in check. Cydney has no idea that Kells is president
of his company, is immensely wealthy and is the son of a duke.
Meanwhile, Cydney has secrets of her own. Kells decides that Bryant is
not the right husband for Cydney and sets out to keep Bryant away. THE
THIRD SON is an immensely powerful story of two people who obviously
seem suited for each other, but their families have their own ideas as
to who they should marry. I found the book to be one where I became
wrapped up in the story and had no difficulty in conjuring an image of
the characters as they developed. There is envy, geed, betrayal, and
even murder to be found in this book. Readers will love it.
