Dorie Anderson's miserable life seems to be at a dead end until she wins a singles cruise to Fiji.  She is determined to make the most of it and is prepared to fall in love with a hunk.  The only problem with that is the fact that when she is face to face with a hunk she turns into a klutz and her tongue swells.

The time finally comes for Dorie to board the ship and embark on a dream trip.  She meets two hunks before even boarding and trips over her luggage in the process.  She makes her way on board and goes to see the sexy French Dr. about her sprained ankle.  There is an immediate attraction between them and her tongue doesn't even swell.  The other hottie on board is a pro-baseball player, Andy is the type of guy that Dorie typically chooses and her tongue swells to prove it.

While Dorie tries to sort out which sexy male to choose, they sail into a bad storm that wrecks the ship and strands all of them but one on an island.  Is there a killer among them or did the missing passenger just get washed overboard?

Jill Shalvis brings us a fun and sexy romance with THE TROUBLE IN PARADISE.  Dorie's klutziness makes her character witty and endearing and I was eager to find out which hunk she was going to choose.  Being stranded on the island prompted the relationships between all the characters to develop nicely.   I found myself unable to put this book down and although I had guesses as to what was really going on with the missing person, the truth didn't come out until the end.  THE TROUBLE WITH PARADISE is an entertaining read with some steamy island action thrown in.
