BITE ME IF YOU CAN is penned by Lynsay Sands, one of the greats of the romance and paranormal genre.  A lifelong reader and devoted writer, Ms. Sands has been working on the Argeneau series since 2003, and her loyal readers appreciate her adding more and more books to it.

BITE ME IF YOU CAN tells the tale of Lucian Argeneau, rogue vampire hunter and immortal loner. When he rescues Leigh Gerard from the clutches of a rogue, he is too late to stop her from becoming a vampire, but just in time to prevent her from becoming a rogue and thus marked for death. Yet once he understands the enormous responsibility he has just shouldered, he is not so sure that he wants to get involved with Leigh – at least that is what his head dictates. When it turns out that she is destined to be his life mate, Lucian knows he is in over his head and turns to his vampire family for help.

BITE ME IF YOU CAN is a delightful romance novel with the paranormal strewn in. More romance than paranormal, even if vampires are not your cup of tea, you will like Ms. Sands’ latest creation. It is refreshing to see the author stray from the tried and true romance formula that demands a strong physical attraction in addition to a strong adversary and dark secret. The slight departure from this formula increases the enjoyment the reader can draw from this novel and it truly showcases Ms. Sands’ humor which might otherwise have gotten lost a bit. A great read, but not for the underage set.
