Okay, I admit I have two addictions—one is relatively new (NASCAR) and the other is decades old--I love bull riding. While I have dreams of riding a bull, I realize it is a highly dangerous sport and the rational side of me thinks a mechanical bull is a more realistic goal. Josh Peter’s novel confirms my belief--bull riding is downright scary! FRIED TWINKIES BUCKLE BUNNIES & BULL RIDERS takes a look at a full-year’s circuit with the PBR (Professional Bull Riding). The author misses nothing as he discusses the rules, the riders, the near-fatal accidents, and even the food that’s served from venue to venue. Obviously, not everyone is going to enjoy Josh Peter’s tell-all book. You have to enjoy or have an interest in bull riding to get any satisfaction from FRIED TWINKIES BUCKLE BUNNIES & BULL RIDERS. For those of us that do love or enjoy the sport, this book is for you! Josh
Peter writes an entertaining novel.
He doesn’t skip facts—he tells the truth, good or bad.
Bull riding is one of those sports that has steadfast fans and
draws many animal rights protesters.
Good or bad, it is becoming one of the most popular sports in the
U.S. And with colorful
names like Tater Porter and Spud Whitman, what’s not to love?
