Cheryl Peck has a knack for retelling snippets from her life in a fresh, humorous manner.  The fifty-something author has many tales to tell, as is proven with her debut, "Fat Girls And Lawn Chairs."  REVENGE OF THE PASTE EATERS continues what she started.

This book is for anyone who remembers what it was like to be a misfit.  We've all been through it at one time or another, possibly life has never changed.  Cheryl Peck infuses her essays with honesty and emotion.  I think I especially appreciate how the author has grown comfortable enough in her own skin to basically say, "Screw what others think of me!"  In today's world with television telling us to become skinny, that is a very refreshing change of pace.  Kudos to Cheryl Peck for telling people that rebelling against society's idea of normal isn't all that bad!
