Here’s a book for your fussy reader.  SEARCHING FOR OLIVER K. WOODMAN follows an around the country quest to find young Tameka Schwartz’s friend.  Oliver went off on a quest sixty days ago, and no one has heard from him since.  Private Investigator Imogene Poplar tackles the case and heads off across the U.S. looking for clues. 

The neat thing about SEARCHING FOR OLIVER K. WOODMAN is that it really isn’t written in a typical fashion.  The entire story is told through a series of letters, newspaper articles, and postcards.  Children can learn a bit about geography as they discover what has become of Oliver.  That makes the book twice as much fun!
