Lana Tate is determined to leave her life behind in Wyoming to get to San Francisco where she can become an opera singer.  The way she figures out how to do that is to capture the stallion that has a two thousand dollar reward on his head.  First, though, she needs some teaching - and who better to do that than the best horseman around: Taggart Morgan.

Tag laughed at the little pixie girl that asked him to teach her about horses.  His laughter stopped when he came upon her sitting as pretty as you please atop a boulder singing to the wild stallion that was close enough for her to pet.  After spooking the horse away, Tag decides he and Lana need to team up and capture the stallion together and split the money.  However, should they achieve their goals, what happens when Lana heads west, away from Wyoming and from him?

What a delightful western romance!  Entertaining isn’t fitting enough for this little gem of a book.  Set in the luscious Wyoming countryside, the tension and slowly developing romance between these two kept me interested the whole way.  Sweet as well as enjoyable, I highly recommend it for those who love a good horse story as well as how two unlikely people can find love.  I’ll be looking for more from Ms. Parra in the future.
