In today’s busy, busy world, people find themselves struggling to balance jobs, chores, families, and personal time.  TANGO ZEN combines the Zen principles for meditation with the popular dance, the tango.  Merging the simple posture used for meditation with the basic tango steps, a new, relaxing dance is created.  TANGO ZEN is your instruction guide into this practice.

TANGO ZEN’s shorter length will make it simple for anyone to sit down and read the principles behind Chan Park’s concept.  Fewer than 100 pages, the book contains all you would want to know, plus pictures to help you make sure you are doing the exercises correctly.  Also, scattered throughout this simple guide to Tango Zen are quotes to help uplift and enlighten the reader.  All in all, I think there is great benefit to be gained from this book.

Those with some basic or advance Tai Chi knowledge will find similarities in some of these exercises.  They are not hard to master, but their benefit to your mental and physical states are well worth it.  I, however, wonder if there is a chance the author will ever consider putting together a DVD series.  I have a feeling that that medium would reach a much bigger audience.
