Morgan Tyler is enjoying her new promotion to co-executive producer of the daytime drama Love of My Life.  However, with the rewards come the responsibilities, and Morgan soon realizes she is responsible for everything.  Enter Cybelle Carter, the beautiful leading lady of Love of My Life; she is terrified that her estranged husband, Philippe, is going to

But when Cybelle's stunt double is found murdered while in Cybelle's apartment, Morgan realizes that she has stumbled into something very serious. When she comes face-to-face with the handsome and charming Philippe, Morgan begins to wonder just who exactly is telling the truth.

LOVE HER TO DEATH is the second installment in Linda Palmer's Daytime Mysteries series. It was well-written suspense - with just the right amount of humor to keep it light. Morgan is an enjoyable heroine with an intriguing background that helps explain her unusual abilities (like killing a snake with a snap of her arm)! Having devoured LOVE HER TO DEATH, I think I will check out her first book Love is Murder. A good weekend in the hammock read.
