CAT NAPS is an illustrated book and CD set that is endorsed by Dr. Holly Knor of Animal Planet's "Emergency Vets."  The book contains a number of photographs of different cats along with quotations from many notables and celebrities.  The pictures are vibrant and will often bring a grin to your face.

The CD that comes with CAT NAPS contains four instrumental tracks that are enhanced with tones that only a cat can hear.  The CD does wonders at piquing a cat's curiosity while also soothing the wild beast that might otherwise be scratching your furniture, curtains, or carpeting.

I admit I was pleasantly surprised.  CAT NAPS did soothe my older cat into a state of relaxation.  While playing the CD, he curled up in front of the CD player and slept for the entire length.  While some may feel this is no shock, my cat was hit by a car 10 years ago.  He suffered brain trauma and from that day on has scratched his head and ears bloody if given the chance, so he is required to wear one of the cones to keep from reaching his head.  Our vet never found any damage other than the brain swelling that occurred after he was hit by the car that should make him want to scratch his face and ears, so it is assumed that the brain swelling must have caused a permanent ringing or something that is truly bothersome to him.  A few weeks ago, he had a mild stroke and we realize his life on this earth may be coming to an end.  He's lasted longer than predicted, so anything I can do to keep him calm is a blessing!

CAT NAPS is an excellent source of relaxation for anyone with a stressed out cat!
