John
is so excited with his new job. He
gets to paint windows, but there is one condition, he mustn’t drip
paint on those walking underneath.
With the bucket of blue paint in hand, John gets to work. It
isn’t long before a grumpy man accuses John of dripping paint on his
new hat. John looks the
man’s hat over and can’t see any paint.
Yet, witnesses come forward and agree that the hat is covered in
paint and should be replaced. John
was so careful. How could
he have spilled the paint? Why
can’t he see it? BLUE
PAINT is a charming story; a perfect choice for your developing reader.
Illustrations are simple, yet appealing.
The story is easy to read and very entertaining.
My daughter read it with me and couldn’t wait to solve the
mystery regarding the invisible/visible paint.
She said it is easily a
book she would read again and again.
