An English Professor dies of suicide, but Francie Steele does not believe this theory.  So the Sherlock Holmes in her makes her conduct an unofficial investigation into the death with the help of her professor and would-be husband, Samuel Pope.

Together their adventure in seeking the truth has been rough and hard, aside from the fact that it all happens when Francie has to work on the requirements for her graduation and the preparations for their upcoming wedding. 

MARRIAGE CAN BE MURDER is written by Maureen Mackey in such a way that you feel as though you are part of the story, investigating and falling in love at the same time.  I recommend this book to murder mystery fanatics.
