Bob Dylan.  I've always found him to be a brilliant poet, but his voice has left lots to be desired.  I am not familiar with the 1960s-1970s Dylan, but rather the Dylan of the late 80s and 90s that seems to mumble.  His words, however, continue to amaze me.
