When Mara MacDougall takes a rest from her job as tour guide and visits an antique shop in London, she spots an antique bed and then bumps into the most handsome man she has ever seen. When she introduces herself, the man vows the bed is his and that no MacDougall will ever sleep in his bed. Later Mara meets with a solicitor who informs her that she has inherited Ravenscraig Castle in Scotland.

HIGHLANDER IN HER BED is a fast moving story of the love that develops between the two people. Allie Mackay has written a story where the characters are lifelike and the story line flows smoothly. I'll be looking for her next book which is due in November 2007.
