Eleanor ingen Alexander, known as Nora, has been betrothed to a man she despises.  She has sought the help of Ewan MacAllister to escort her to her aunt, Eleanor of Aquitaine, in England. Ewan, living under the curse of having killed his brother, recognizes the situation to be identical to the one that made him an outcast.  Reluctantly, he agrees to help Nora and they set off for England.

Ewan and Nora are drawn to each other, and romance is in the air.  However, as they make their way towards England, they are taken prisoner by a band of gypsies...

There are enough twists and turns in this story to make it truly a book to be read in one sitting. As I read the book, I could almost see the events
unfolding before my eyes.

Every character plays an important part in the story.  I can only wait impatiently to read the next book to find out what happens next. I recommend this book to all historical romance lovers.
