THE
BOOK ON LEADERSHIP, by John MacArthur, offers a discussion of the
merits of Christian leadership as portrayed by the life of the Apostle
Paul. The book seems to suggest that there is a great vacuum in the
leadership of businesses today that can only be filled from within the
Christian community. THE
BOOK ON LEADERSHIP contains many scriptural passages, taken from the
KING JAMES VERSION, THE NEW KING JAMES VERSION, NEW AMERICAN STANDARD
BIBLE, and THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION OF THE BIBLE. The book
would seem to have a very limited readership in that no mention is made
of the other eleven Apostles, and the other great religions of the world
today received no mention. I found the twenty six characteristics of a true leader to be well defined and would truly characterize a great leader. THE BOOK ON LEADERSHIP would be well placed in the library of today’s churches.
