Carolyn Sue Tarlton is a woman in her forties who has lost her husband.  They had a great marriage, and she never envisioned how alone she would feel as she tries to start anew.

Her daughter returns to college, so Carolyn enrolls in school where she meets Michael, a professor.  In order to accommodate her classes, she switches from the day shift to a night shift, one night a week.  As a result, she meets Dr. Jackson, an emergency physician.  Both men have secrets from the past that they don’t want to share.

Carolyn learns that as a single woman she must develop a new life. Her married friends do not understand what she going through, especially the men. The small changes she makes in her life eventually result in Carolyn making some tough decisions.  Decisions she never dreamed she would have had to make before she lost her husband.

HELLO, I'M CAROLYN NOBODY is a change of life story that could happen to any woman in today’s world.  I could very much identify with the main character, even though I haven’t lost my husband.  The story is very much reality based, but told in a manner that will leave the reader hungry for the whole story.
