Successful sports agent Jessi Teresa (JT) Blake is referred to as "The Lady Blake" by everyone in the sports world.  When her car breaks down on the highway, sexy trucker Reese Anthony helps her out with a ride.  Reese and Jessi are drawn to each other right away, but part ways.  JT has never found the time to get involved in a long term relationship and she isn't sure if she is ready to now. 

Reese knows that he needs to tell JT that he is more than just a truck driver.  He really is a former cop that is now working for the football commissioners office to investigate a murder.  He knows that Jessi won't want to get involved with him because it would be like sleeping with the enemy.  She certainly doesn't need her reputation questioned, but when her life starts being threatened someone needs to help keep her safe.  Reese steps up to the plate and so do all of her very protective athlete clients.  Will this be enough to stop a rival that will stop at nothing to destroy "The Lady Blake"?

DEADLY SEXY was one of those books that I had a hard time getting into and it was very predictable.  Reese and his family are endearing characters that I found myself giggling at.  Aside from the predictability and slow beginning, DEADLY SEXY was a book that passed the time and had a nice love story, but it wasn't one that I would rush right out for.
