TO
PLEASURE A PRINCE is the much awaited second book by Sabrina Jeffries in
The Royal Brotherhood Series. Marcus North, sixth Viscount
Draker, is another bastard son of “Prinny”. You may have already met
one of “Prinny’s” other sons, Alec Black, Earl of Iversley, in IN
THE PRINCE’S BED, reviewed in August 2004 at this site. Marcus
is a very outspoken individual and some years ago threw his mother and
the Prince out of
Marcus’ home, Castlemaine. This has earned him censure by
society. Now, Simon Iversley is pursuing Marcus’ sister, Louisa,
with the goal of bringing her to the prince’s attention. Marcus is
determined to prevent Louisa from seeing Simon, knowing his sister will
be ruined. He enlists the aid of another brother and obtains a
visitor’s pass to Almacks, thereby getting back into society.
Eventually, Marcus reluctantly agrees to let Simon court Louisa but
under the condition that Marcus be allowed to court Regina, Simon’s
sister. I
found TO PLEASURE A PRINCE to be a very enjoyable read and suggest it be
added to a romance lover’s book shelf. I know I’ll be looking for
more of Sabrina’s books.
