We all know the song “Amazing Grace.”  We’ve heard the word "grace" used in many religious settings.  So if grace is so important, what exactly is the definition?  Why do so few people actually understand grace as a concept?

Pastor Robert Jeffers delves into the true, biblical meaning of grace and where it is lacking in today’s world.  He uses the true meaning of grace to delve into current world issues—divorce, adultery, finances, and church matters.

GRACE GONE WILD is written in such a way that anyone will benefit from the words within.  The author doesn’t condemn actions; instead he shows why the Bible doesn’t support many of today’s social issues.

Immediately, I knew that many of the topics found within this book would cause disagreements—and the author doesn’t shy away from that fact.  I have issues with divorce and remarriage.  Per the book, divorce is okay IF the other spouse has had an affair or has abandoned the spouse.  The author never truly delves into abuse in the manner in which I think abuse should be treated.  I’ve argued this point before and will forever—if your spouse is abusing you, GET OUT.  I watched my best friend stick with an abusive marriage for far too long.  Thankfully, she got out of the marriage safely.  I’ve known others who were not so lucky and didn’t live to get out of their marriage.

GRACE GONE WILD isn’t a bad book, it raises some valid points.  I just see it becoming the topic of many heated debates.
