This is the third novel in Tara Janzen's popular Crazy series.  I've not read the first two novels, but I believe the prologue quickly caught me up in the basic premise.  Men from the SDF (Special Defense Force) are called back from their current missions to handle a special case for the government.  The men are:  Creed Rivera (CRAZY WILD), Peter Chronopolous (CRAZY KISSES 3/06), Christian Hawkins (CRAZY COOL 11/05) Quinn Younger (CRAZY HOT 10/05) and Dylan Hart.  As there are still more books in the works, I'm assuming other SDF agents will be introduced in upcoming novels.

Creed Rivera is known for his ballsy attitude and he's yet to even be cleared for active duty.  He jumps at the next mission--to capture Cody Starks, a woman suspected of being in the U.S. to sell a nuclear missile.  The problem is Cody is far different to any woman Creed's ever met, and his hormones are racing whenever she's near.  Can he keep his mind on the case?  Is Cody truly a cunning terrorist or is there more to her story?

CRAZY WILD works extremely well as a stand-alone novel.  Though some characters have their own stories, Tara Janzen does an outstanding job of bringing them into the story without making you feel as though you've missed a huge portion of their lives.  I'm intrigued and want to catch up, of that there is no doubt, but I'm also thrilled that I can jump into the series with this third book and not feel out of place.
