Katya Dekker, daughter of Senator Marilyn Dekker, hasn't laid eyes on Christian Hawkins in thirteen years. So why is he playing security guard at her art auction? Wait until her mother finds out, it will be war! At the moment, the battle Katya is fighting is an internal, sensual, sexual and guilt-ridden war. Has Christian forgiven her for her roll in putting him behind bars for a crime he did not commit?

Christian Hawkins is "Superman" to his Special Defense Force division of the Department of Defense. His team members include: Dylan Hart; Creed Rivera, a hostage of the National Revolutionary Forces in Columbia; J. T. Chronopolous also a hostage of the NRF who is presumed dead; and Peter "Kid Chaos" Chronopolous (brother of J. T.) still in Columbia on the mission.

Christian Hawkins pulls out of Columbia to baby sit the most beautiful woman he's ever known.  She also happens to be the only woman that he has ever wanted.  Is he here to save her life? If so, from what or whom? No one has explained the details of this mission. Katya looks really good.  But there is the issue of her mother, "Darth Vader in Chanel". What will she do if she sees him here? Who has hired him to do this job and why?

So begins MISSION: CRAZY COOL.  A murder occurs at the art auction and Hawkins and Katya find themselves spending more time than they prefer together. Hawkins is torn between his mission in Columbia and the act of keeping Kat safe.

Tara Janzen twists the past and the present together to form a romantic mystery that is packed with murder, intrigue, interesting characters, sensuality, sexuality, and yet remains playful.

I didn't want to put MISSION: CRAZY COOL down.  I was caught up in the romantic interludes and the edgy mother-daughter relationship, all while also trying to figure out who killed whom and who was setting whom up. Also available right now is CRAZY HOT. I'm going to grab my copy of that today!
