Flip Paxton has her cleaning business and a handsome fiance, Tom Scott, local lawyer of the sleepy town of Solace Glen. All is going well for Flip as her business picks up and she finds herself seeking to hire help and wedding bells are about ring--if Tom would only set a date. 

Paranoia sets in for Flip as Tom suddenly takes on a "mysterious" client, one he refuses to divulge any details about. The mystery soon ends as the client walks through the door to Tom's building as Flip is making her way out. Checking out the bombshell, Flip sees, honey-blonde hair, impeccable silk suit, deep perfectly colored lips which all top off a tall slender frame! 

Enter Stuart Larkin, aka the "mysterious" client, who happens to also have been the one to buy Flip Paxton's recently vacated home. 

Stuart Larkin has moved to Solace Glen from Los Angeles in an attempt to run away from a stalker. Her father, Conrad Larkin owns and runs a large industrial company and also has his share of enemies as well. They both move to Solace Glen thinking that the stalker will follow them, thereby giving them a chance to catch him using their own professional detective help while refusing the help of local authorities to do so. 

Is the stalker after Stuart or just using her as a pawn? Who is stalking her and why move to such a quiet location with only one part-time cop? What is the stalker after? 

Many Solace Glen community members begin to fear for themselves and get involved with the mystery. Strangers begin to lurk around town and events begin to take place causing neighbor to suspect neighbor, and a kidnapping takes place that makes the list of suspects grow even larger. 

Jealousy and sleuthing take over Flips mind as well for the faster Stuart Larkin, THE SIREN OF SOLACE GLEN can leave town the faster she and Tom can get on with their lives. Flip feels that Tom is spending too much time not only work wise but personally with Stuart Larkin.  Who is the stalker actually after? Who will in the end solve the mystery?
