Until Rees, Earl Godwin, proposes the most preposterous scheme ever.

When Rees finds the real reason behind his excruciatingly proper wife’s proposal for divorce, he is utterly shocked.  Being the rake he is, Rees comes up with a proposal of his own that is even more shocking, although he hates to admit it he needs Helene in more ways than one.  Where he thought he only needed her musically, he finds himself wanting her in his life for good.  How could his wife possibly forgive him for things he has done in the past?  Throwing her out of her house and moving his mistress in tops the list as unforgivable.  Helene, however, doesn’t know all the details of this supposed mistress.  Can Rees and Helene triumph over the past and find the love that drove them to Gretna Green in the first place?

YOUR WICKED WAYS is a perfect ending to a great series.  I loved this series dearly.  I found myself devouring page after page and before I knew it I was finished with the book in a day.  Ms. James has a way of drawing you into the tale with her great plots and interplay between new and old characters.  She brings them all into the story without over doing it.  It all just fits somehow.

I also adored the way Ms. James didn’t have Helene and Rees just fall into each other's arms and burst into flames with passion for each other. They had serious issues to overcome, and I love the way they worked them out.  I think it was a sweet ending for a couple finding their love for each other all over again.  And, of course, you have the side romance, although I am not going to say who it is between, you will have to find that our for yourself.

As always, Ms. James doesn’t disappoint.  I always rush to get her next book.  I would also like to point out that YOUR WICKED WAYS is book four in the series.   I suggest you read the first three or you may feel a  little lost.
