BLOWN AWAY

When a serial killer starts leaving a twisted puzzle of murders in a quiet Chicago suburb, career cop Emily Thompson gets her greatest wish. She is called to work the homicides. Unfortunately, the killer has an agenda and the agenda involves making Emily his final target. Each killing draws Emily deeper into the killer’s web, forcing her to take a journey back in time to her own childhood. Can Emily solve the puzzles in time to catch the killer before he catches her? Can she face the past and come out unscathed?

The title says it all--I was blown away by BLOWN AWAY. I couldn’t put it down! The story hooked me from the very beginning. There were twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. Add great characters that I sympathized with (even the killer) and you have the perfect crime book. I'm still in disbelief that I missed a major twist. It took me completely by surprise. Oh, and I will never look at board games the same way again! I have only one regret--the book ended. This is one I’ll read time and time again because it’s just that fun.
