Paige Cassel lives every woman’s dream.  She is successful, relatively wealthy, and her marriage is perfect—until her husband announces he is in love with another man.  Paige’s life is over and she refuses to let another man into her life.  She cannot risk having her heart broken or living with tremendous humiliation again.  When she meets a hunky contractor, Paige’s tough façade begins to crack.  Can she allow another man into her life?  Is her heart worth risking?

Sophie is the middle Cassel sister.  Sophie is nearing the end of her pregnancy.  She’s tired, hormonal, and sick to death of her husband.  The baby’s arrival changes everything, especially any time spent as a couple.  When another man enters her life, she begins to contemplate just where her marriage is headed.

Finally, Mickey, the youngest sister, struggles to keep her sanity.  She doesn’t want to attend medical school, can’t figure out how to tell her parents, and all she really wants is a chance to become a chef.  When she begins dating a local chef, she thinks her dreams are coming true.  Unfortunately, he may be less of a man than she believes.

On top of their own personal problems, Paige, Sophie, and Mickey must come to terms with news that their long-feuding parents have reunited and may be dating.  Their parents swore they’d never spend two seconds in the same room.  Is the world coming to an end?

SHE, MYSELF & I is highly entertaining.  It’s one of the best chick lit novels I’ve picked up in recent months.  Paige, Sophie and Mickey are true to life—hormones and all.  The book is divided into three sections with one sibling contributing their side of the story to that portion of the novel.

I think everyone will find a familiar trait or two in each of the sisters.  The parents are especially funny as they try to hide their dating antics from the rest of the world.

Packed with tongue-in-cheek wit, lively characters, human problems, and a zingy style, SHE, MYSELF, AND I is a winner.
