Tori
Whitley accepts a job from her cousin Eddie at his detective agency.
Not knowing anything about being a private investigator, she does
her best to learn as she goes. However,
unknowingly, the man she is investigating is doing his own investigation
and can spot her coming a mile away. Grady
Palmer is a businessman in the town of Seahaven, Florida.
There’s some shady dealings going on in city hall, and he’s
going to find out just how much. However,
in the process, it makes him look as if he’s involved.
Will he be able to clear his name and set the record straight? Tori
doesn’t like it that she’s falling for Grady - knowing it is not[un]
ethical. She knows he’s
good and honest, so she feels guilty for what she’s doing.
She’ll come clean, just as soon as she tells the woman who
wanted him investigated that she’s off the case.
However, by that time, it may be too late to save her
relationship. Loaded with lots of fun and charm, SNOOPS IN THE CITY is an offbeat, old-fashioned romance that easily entertains. The plot isn’t too heavy and the romance is sexy without sex scenes. If you’re looking for hot - look elsewhere. The dirty dealings aren’t too dirty; the bad guys aren’t that bad, so everything is light, airy and fun. SNOOPS isn’t dramatic, but it will keep you flipping the pages until the end to see what happens!
