In THE ROSE RED BRIDE, the second installment in the Jewels of Kinfairlie trilogy, Alexander Lammergeier decides to marry off another one of his sisters for money.  In order to get Vivienne to agree to the marriage, Alexander tells a tale of a mortal woman who is seduced by a fairy prince while she sleeps in the castle tower.

Curiosity gets the best of Vivienne and she spends the night in the tower hoping that her fairy prince will come to get her, and he does.  The only problem is that he is not a fairy prince, he is Erik of Blackleith and he needs a son in order to reclaim his family estate from his brother.  Erik has no intentions of making his relationship
with Vivienne permanent but she has other plans and sets her sights on winning his heart.

In THE ROSE RED BRIDE Alexander botches yet another attempt at matchmaking, this time with his sister Vivienne.  On the outside Vivienne appears to be a naïve, well-bred lady, but underneath she has a will of steel and the heart
of a temptress.  A fairy with a love for beer provides a humorous thread through the book.  Alexander still has a couple of unmarried sisters and hopefully more opportunities to improve his skills in matchmaking in the
next installment of the trilogy.
