Roth Braun, the son of a Nazi concentration camp commander, has learned of the existence of The Five Stones of David. These are believed to be the stones David used to slay Goliath. When Stephen Friedman, a realtor, learns of the death of Rachel Spritzer and that he is believed to be Rachel’s long lost son, David, he becomes interested in the story of the five stones.

Meanwhile, Roth also learns that Stephen/David may possess the knowledge of the location of the stones and is determined to posses the stones himself. Stephen/David tries to enter the apartment building where Rachel lived to search for the stones only to find that Roth has bought the building and refuses to allow Stephen/David to enter it. 

With this beginning, I became wrapped up in OBSESSED and found it difficult to put the book down. Ted Dekker has written a great story, full of suspense, and one that seems plausible. Just where are the stones? Will Stephen/David ever find them? Readers will just love this book!
