Eddie Dunne’s routine morning turns into a nightmare when his only daughter is kidnapped.  The list of potential suspects is long, too long.  Eddie and his partner were both with the NYPD until they were caught hanging out with the wrong type of man.  He also worked for a man with ties to the Russian Mafia.  Eddie has played both sides of the law, and almost anyone could want to even the score.

Teaming up with Detective Babsie Panko, Eddie is determined to find his daughter before it is too late.  Even if that means twisting the laws to fit his needs.

THE CON MAN’S DAUGHTER grabs you by the throat and never lets go.  The author’s experience as a lieutenant with the NYPD Organized Crime Unit is used to create a stunning backdrop in this fast paced novel.

Though Eddie obviously had his faults, I found him to be a most enjoyable character.  His love and devotion to his family were undeniable.  The addition of his innocent granddaughter added humor to the story.  I’ll never be able to eat angel food cake again without thinking back to her name for it!

All in all, THE CON MAN’S DAUGHTER is a perfect selection to any mystery/crime lover’s shelf.  And just in time for Christmas, too!
