Despite years of being as close to perfect
as she can be, eighteen-year-old Anna Cabot Percy needs a break. When
her mom jets off to Europe, Anna decides to go visit her father in L.A.
In a manner of hours, she accepts a date with a handsome college
student, Ben Birnbaum, who is holding an invitation to an Oscar winner's
wedding.
Things are looking up. She has a gorgeous date, a chance to hob nob
with some of Hollywood's elite, until she meets a group of girls who
each have their own plans for Ben.
THE A-LIST is a witty, jet setters look at life from some upper crust
teens. Realistic reactions to set backs and typically catty female
disagreements make the book seem human despite the fact that one of the
"upper crust" is a place I'll never find myself in. Regardless of that
major difference between the characters and myself, I found their
adventures to be highly entertaining for an afternoon.
It's amazing to see just how far teen romances have come over the
years. It is stories with this fresh, humorous attitude that will keep
teens reading.
