Someone is killing members of a consortium that is negotiating a business deal with the Chinese.  If the murders continue, the Chinese may back out of the deal. Already, they are very nervous.   Cullen Pulaski, a highly successful businessman, has asked for the best team available to find the person responsible for the deaths of the members.  He uses his connections to pull strings with the White House. 

For that very reason, Madison Harper, an FBI profiler, is pulled off her latest case and assigned to the investigation.  Her new partner, a CIA operative named Gabriel Rourke, seems to want to control the investigation and this promises to create friction between them.  That friction has the possibility of turning into something far more passionate. 

I thought I had solved the murders only to be thrown for a loop at the end.  Dee Davis cleverly keeps her readers guessing.  Lovers of a good mystery should add ENDGAME to their list.  The suspense just never lets up.
