Loni MacEwen is shaken by a powerful vision in which a young boy is stranded in the mountains with his pet St. Bernard as his only companion.  Loni's had visions before and she knows what others think of her, but she must convince the boy's father to go rescue his son.  The problem is that Clint Harrigan doesn't believe in psychics.  Clint also has no child.

Clint scoffs at Loni's claims, but when the news breaks with a story about a missing senator, his wife, their son, and the family dog, Clint realizes he knows the woman--he was ready to ask her to marry him once.  Clint is convinced she never would have kept a pregnancy from her, and he is determined to find this child now that it seems Loni isn't lying.  With Loni by his side, Clint heads up into the Oregon forest to find this young boy before he succumbs to the dangers of the mountains.

Readers may know some of the characters in MORNING LIGHT because Clint's sister Samantha and Tucker Coulter had their own story in 2007's SUN KISSED.  Samantha and Tucker are back.  Meanwhile, Clint's brothers, Quincy, Parker, and Zachary, will each have their own novels in the years to come.

Catherine Anderson has yet to write a story that didn't completely mesmerize me.  Working on two hours sleep from the night before, I thought I'd get into bed last night and fall asleep early.  Instead, I started reading MORNING LIGHT and then couldn't put it down until the final page.  Here's my take-the lack of sleep for the second night running was well worth it!  MORNING LIGHT is romantic, action-packed, and leaves you reaching for the Kleenex.
