Written in a friendly, engaging manner, PLAYING THE QUANTUM FIELD taps into the world of the strong connection between the world we live in and how it affects our daily life. The author explains how our own choices are what makes or breaks our careers and that there are ten "energetic choices" that can either trap us into a rut or help us become all we were meant to be. These choices are explained in depth within the book and include: Comfort Zones, Head Trips, Loops, Magnets, Suspend Judgment, Lighten Up, Tune In, Scan, Tap The Truth, and Believe. Many of the examples found within the book are based on the author's own life, though there are a number of other stories to help give clear images of how each "energetic choice" works and can help launch you into a better place if you avoid the common traps. All in all, PLAYING THE QUANTUM FIELD may not be for everyone. There were a few stories that I found myself questioning. In one the author's friend hires a computer consultant who turns out to be rather inept; instead of getting upset, she decides to give him credit. I guess I live on a different plateau, if I'm paying someone my hard earned money to perform a job, I expect them to be capable at their job. PLAYING THE QUANTUM FIELD is enjoyable, but for those who are seriously set towards the scientific, it may not fill their needs. In essence, I found some of the book read more like an autobiography with the constant discussion of the author's life, her parents, and her friends. It's enjoyable, but I'm not sure it will help everyone who reads it.
