Mike Edwards, a very skilled diver, finds himself in several life threatening adventures in this spine tingling novel.   However, the main plot of the story is his journey to find the sunken ship, Los Espanoles
Condesa.  The ship went down in 1622 and carried a bow full of gold, silver, copper, and gems!    He and his comrades are on an adventure that will cost the lives of a few.   It calls into action the FBI, the KGB, and the Cuban Navy.   We learn about submarine technology to match no other.   Will the treasure be found?   Will they all die or go to jail for espionage? Read the thrilling novel THE GOLDEN COUNTESS   to learn the answers and travel on one of the most memorable adventures of a lifetime.
 
THE GOLDEN COUNTESS is not my genre of choice for reading; however, I found myself totally engrossed in the novel.   I found myself fearing for the lives of the characters and hoping for the demise of the villain in the book    Andy Anderson has a talent for drawing his reader into the midst of the action and making them feel a part of it all!
