This August marks the tenth anniversary since Princess Diana's death.  In addition, Prince William and Prince Harry marked their mother's July 1st birthday with a huge benefit concert held in Wembley Stadium.  Almost one decade later, interest in the former princess is still strong.  Thus, I expect to see a lot of interest in the recent release AFTER DIANA.

AFTER DIANA takes a look at both Diana's life and death and the changes to the Royals following her death.  Prince Charles has finally been able to
marry his true love, Camilla Parker Bowles.  Prince Harry and Prince William have faced media scrutiny in their early adulthood--constantly being attacked for simply acting like any other college student.  Queen Elizabeth has been called cold and unfeeling for doing the job she was trained to do from a very early age in a world that  has rapidly changed.

Obviously, I have tremendous respect for all of the Royals.  Theirs is a job
I would never desire.  I just wish the media would recognize that they too
are human and back off!  I feel it is rather rude to again bring up Prince
Harry's parentage--why others cannot see just how much he resembles Prince Charles is beyond me.  In many pictures, I feel it is Prince William that more resembles the Spencer's than the Royals.  Either way, what does it matter?  I also don't feel that ten years after Diana's death is the time to rehash the details of Prince Charles affairs, her own affairs, and her frequent forays with depression and Bulimia.  Tragically, she did die and I wish the world would let her memory rest in peace.

AFTER DIANA will appeal to Diana's fans, of that I am sure.  For me it
leaves little more than an upsetting journey.  Instead of dragging up all of
the negative, I definitely would have appreciated a focus on the positive.
I also hope that the money made from this book might be donated to one of Diana's charities rather than in the author's pocket.  I couldn't find
information on where the money would go, either way.
