Maggie’s life is the shelter she runs, with her friend Delta, for homeless children. It is a passion born out of her own life experiences – her mother died when she was a child and her father, a musician, went on the road and left her in the care of her aunt. He never came back. Adam’s life is also one consumed by his job. He uses it to hide from a failed relationship and his fears of raising his thirteen-year-old niece, who came to live with him when both her parents died in an accident. When Jordan runs away, Adam turns to Maggie for help in first finding and then understanding his niece. Although Adam and Maggie have met previously, and they have not seen eye-to-eye over her shelter, she agrees to help him. In the process, she also helps herself and Adam deal with their painful pasts so both can begin to open their hearts again to the possibility of love. MADISON’S MIRACLES is a well-written, page turning romance. I found myself caring for the characters and their futures. This is a must read romance.
