HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT is the fourth book by romantic suspense writer Michele Albert. Her other books are entitled GETTING HER MAN, OFF LIMITS, and ONE WAY OUT.  A new book, TOUGH ENOUGH, is scheduled to hit the book stores in March of 2007. Some readers may know her as Michelle Jerott, a name under which she has written an additional four books. No matter which name you might have gotten to know her under, Ms. Albert's writings are well known in the genre, and this archaeologist turned romance writer has been rewarded for her switch in professions with the prestigious Golden Heart Award by the Romance Writers of America in 1997.

HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT is the classical romance between the brainy Fiona
Kennedy McMahon and the mysterious mercenary Griffin Laughton. Both are haunted by past uncertainties, tragedies, and their inability to let the
past rest in peace. Both recognize that they are headed for a one-night
stand and vow that this will be sufficient for them. Yet in the wake of
Griffin's assignment - which includes Fiona as much as a pawn as a main
player - they get too close for comfort. Yet soon they both realize that
before they can come to grips with their personal involvement, they must
survive the relentless attacks of those who believe Fiona to be in
possession of a secret code that could expose them and their organization.

HIDE IN PLAIN SIGHT is a well written romantic suspense novel that once
again showcases why Ms. Albert is indeed in the league of award winning
writers.  The twists and turns of the plot are excellent, and the love
scenes are hot and steamy (which, by the way, puts this book off limits
for teens and other young readers). The character development is very well
done, and the action is fast-paced, making this a definite page turner.
