TOUGH TOPICS is a must for every household.  Forget that the book is aimed for leaders of youth discussion groups; it is so much more than that.  In essence, the book reminded me of a game we had in my teens – Scruples.  Inside the pages are hundreds of thought-provoking questions aimed to get your kids talking.  Numerous topics from the whimsical to serious issues can be found within.  There are bible-based questions and mainstream questions, all require some tough choices and thought.

For example:  “Which would be better, discovering a cure for cancer or the cure for AIDS?” (Page 70). “Which would be worse, swallowing a fly or getting a fly stuck up your nose?”  (Page 61).  As your children think it over, they are forced to weigh the odds.  Some decisions are easy to make; others are a great challenge.

TOUGH TOPICS is a book that we will be pulling out at dinnertime for some great, stimulating discussions.  My kids love it, and we love getting to know just where they stand on certain issues.
