Last year, the first book in the "Thief" trilogy (THE SMOKE THIEF) was reviewed on Roundtable Reviews. Now the second installment, THE DREAM THIEF, has been published.

Lady Amalia Langford, also known as Lia and the daughter of the drakon clan's Alpha, can hear the call of the Draumur,   the legendary dreaming diamond. She can also hear the future and knows that the fate of the diamond and the drakon rests in the hands of Zane, a human man. Zane's quest for the diamond takes him to Hungary where he encounters Lia. Together they set out in search of the diamond which is hidden somewhere in the Carpathian Mountains.

I had not previously read Shana Abe's THE SMOKE THIEF and found it did not prevent me from thoroughly enjoying her latest book. I'll be waiting for the third book in the series to make its appearance.
